...My son's very challenging condition lead me to research both inside and outside of the mainstream medical establishment, and sent me along many different paths.

Working with Dr. William Lee Cowden,MD.’s unique approach, I’ve learned and worked with a combination of integrative medicine,  traditional biomedical interventions and natural therapies.

I’ve learned about biomedical treatments, homeopathic, orthomolecular and isopathic medicine, as well as applied kinesiology, acupressure, EDS, SCT, HBOT, energy medicine, and natural herbal traditions. This research has required my spending long hours researching in mainstream medical journals, integrative medicine articles and medical reports. From there, I queried and interviewed scientists, biochemists, toxicologists, microbiologists, experts in mental health and doctors from all over the world - in search of answers to solve my son's autism puzzle. I also enroll and studied for over 4 years became a homeopath.

This dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance paid off.  My son has recovered to the extent that he is attending a regular school's classroom. He has already passed first grade bench marks in the middle of the school year. He is above proficient in mathematics and is overall very smart. He is making friends and plays with them, and his brother, like any neuro-typical boy his age.

He still has deficiencies that he has to cope with; like a short attention span and dealing with emotional frustrations when things don't go his way. Other than that...he is a happy, healthy boy.

 

I continue to learn and research as I pursue the cure...if possible; after all... faith is the thing we cannot lose.

With help of friends and medical doctors I continue researching, learning and sharing the information over the internet in the yahoo group;  focusing on assisting other parents in putting together the pieces of their children autism's puzzle.

Now I help other families by offering my professional services as a Homeopath/Holistic Consultant, that has been giving the parents and me a great happiness and satisfaction while seeing our children progressively recuperating their health. I also founded "Reversing Autism Foundation" to help parents from all over the world.
